Adhere to God's truth

I am writing in response to the letter "Don't use Bible to blast homosexuals" on July 6 by Tammy Hall. This is for all the people who fall on their own wisdom and intelligence and reject God's Word to support sinful behavior. Have you read your Bible from cover to cover or have you simply listened to your president make similar commentary?

Many will read the Bible and mock the one true God. All of those so-called "rules" that were mentioned are and should still be followed and lived out in some way by believers today, all of which are in the context of a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

No unsaved person will ever fully understand what the Bible says because it is a spiritual book. It is a living, life-giving Word from Almighty God. But only someone who has been born again will ever begin to comprehend its riches.

Truth is never outdated. Homosexuality, polygamy, adultery, immorality and immodesty are all harmful to our society. Telling people the truth is loving our neighbor as ourself.
