A motorcyclist who allegedly was speeding at 110 mph Wednesday night was driving while intoxicated, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Timothy M. Spencer, 37, Black River, was halted at 9:45 p.m. on Route 126 in the town of Rutland. A deputy cited his speed in a 45-mph zone, and additionally charged him with reckless driving, failure to keep right and crossing hazard markings. His breath-test result was listed as 0.16 percent blood alcohol content. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
Also charged with DWI and related offenses:
■ Holly S. Vanderbunt, 48, Greene, was charged Sunday with aggravated DWI, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and crossing hazard markings after she overturned her car on County Route 3 in Hammond, state police said. She registered a 0.24 percent BAC, police said. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
■ Robert A. John, 34, of 108 Monroe St., Apt. 308, Sackets Harbor, was arrested by state park police at 3:10 a.m. Saturday on charges of aggravated felony DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right on County Route 62 in the town of Hounsfield. He tested at 0.18 percent BAC, police said. Mr. John was convicted of DWI in Watertown City Court in October 2001, making Saturday's arrest result in a charge of felony DWI.
■ Sharon A. Barry, 38, Liverpool, additionally was cited by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies with crossing hazard markings and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following her arrest at 1:35 a.m. Monday on Route 12 in the town of Alexandria. She tested at 0.13 percent BAC, according to the sheriff's office.
■ Justin A. Cramer, 19, of 668 Huntington St., Watertown, was halted by city police in the 800 block of West Main Street, where at 2:20 a.m. Thursday he additionally was cited with failure to keep right. With a test reading listed at 0.07 percent BAC, he was charged with "common law" DWI, based on an officer's observations.
■ Richard L. Pacific, 61, of 914 State St., Apt. 3, Watertown, was arrested on Interstate 81 in the town of Hastings by Oswego County sheriff's deputies at 8 p.m. Wednesday. He also faces charges of failure to keep right and consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.
■ Raymond J. White, 28, of 183 Raquette Point Road, Hogansburg, was charged by Massena police following a traffic stop at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on East Orvis Street. He also was charged with speeding. His BAC was not released.
■ Christopher C. Webster, 32, of 363 Arlington St., was arrested by state troopers at Water and Pearl streets in Watertown at 12:50 a.m. Thursday. He tested at 0.17 percent BAC, police said.
