'Seinfeld' Reunion News

I debated posting this news today because I thought most people would already know, and it has nothing to do with movies.

But then I called my old college roommate last night to discuss the upcoming season of HBO's “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” The reason: The cast of “Seinfeld” is going to reunite on the show. He, who frequently quotes George Castanza and owns all nine seasons on DVD, was unaware of this development.

So for those who do not know: The whole cast is coming back in a storyline that requires them all to get back into character and shoot scenes of a reunion-like episode. Jerry Seinfeld was recently quoted in Entertainment Weekly as saying "as far as I'm concerned, we did do (a reunion), and in a better way than I ever imagined".

The new season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” starts Sept. 20. The reunion will be Oct. 4. Expect HBO subscriptions to sky rocket temporarily.
