Due to an editing omission, three sentences were left out of Carol A. Simpson's letter "Cape event explored wind power questions" that appeared in the Times on Wednesday.

The last paragraph of the letter should have read: "WPEG (Wind Power Ethics Group) sponsored two town meetings last year, one in Cape Vincent and one in Chaumont. We spent a lot of time and money organizing and setting up for the meetings. We paid for the insurance for the schools, and printed brochures to hand out. Voters for Wind were invited to bring their own speakers. We provided them a table for their informational handouts. We obviously have different opinions on this issue; however, we did our best to accommodate both sides. We encourage Voters for Wind to set up a program on this issue and provide speakers with both vantage points. The more we know, the better our decisions will be."
