It's Official: 3D in Watertown

When I was standing in line to see Sorority Row yesterday, I noticed the sign: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 3D Friday, September 18.

The upgrade for the Regal Theater No. 8 is complete, a new screen in place, a new projector positioned, and that all-important 3-D lens ready to go. Hooray.

Now that boring 66 mile drive to Syracuse doesn't have to happen. It's also just in time for the re-release of Toy Story and Toy Story 2, which will come to theaters again shortly, this time in 3-D.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs first showing is at 2 p.m., Friday. I'll be there.
