Governor Patterson to speak at St. Lawrence Dems dinner

The St. Lawrence County Democratic Committee announced that Gov. David A. Paterson will be the keynote speaker at this year's annual dinner Oct. 13 in Canton.

The County Democratic Committee will present Roger J. Sharlow of Waddington with its highest honor, the Silas A. Wright Award, at the dinner.

Other Democratic elected officials expected to be on hand include state Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine, Assemblywoman Addie J. Russell, District Attorney Nicole M. Duvé and William L. Owens, Democratic candidate for the 23rd Congressional District.

The dinner will be held in Chaney Hall on the SUNY Canton campus. There will be a VIP reception with the governor from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the VIP reception are $100 per person; dinner tickets are $50 per person.
