Lowville coach registers 300th win with victory

LOWVILLE — Red Raiders coach Leo Sammon picked up his 300th coaching win as Lowville beat Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, 3-0, in a Frontier League "B" Division girls soccer game Friday.

Taylor Haenlin, Nicole Dittl and Courtlyn Morse scored for Lowville (5-1-1 overall, 4-1 division).

Zana Gervaise made 17 saves for the Rebels (1-6, 1-5).

WATERTOWN 3, CARTHAGE 0

Maureen Keggins contributed one goal and one assist in the Cyclones' "A" Division victory over the Comets (4-2-1, 2-2-1) at Carthage.

Sarah VanEenenaam, Allison Cleaver, Logan Barnard and Mia Capone led the defense, according to Watertown coach Mike VanNostrand.

Taylor Hughes and Jillian VanNostrand also scored for Watertown (7-1-1, 5-0).

INDIAN RIVER 0

Briana Guarino tallied two goals and two assists in the host Cavaliers' "A" Division victory at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

Hannah Connolly and Katelynn Chamberlain also scored for IHC (8-1, 5-1).

The Warriors are 0-5-1, 0-3-1.
