Robert W. Bush

ADAMS CENTER — Robert W. Bush, Sr., 54, Second St., Adams Center died Monday afternoon at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Mr. Bush was born September 15, 1955 in Watertown to Robert C. and Barbara (Swan) Bush. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1973. Mr. Bush served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1973-1977. He was civilian employee at Ft. Drum in range control, retiring in 2001 due to ill health.

Mr. Bush married Joan Dennee November 30, 1991. He was a member of the Watertown Eagles and American Legion Post 61. He was also active playing and coaching the Sunday Softball League for many years.

Surviving besides his wife Joan are 3 sons, Robert, Jr. and his wife Candy, Graig and his companion Ashley Copestick, William and his companion Kylie Rowe all of Watertown, a daughter and her husband Holly and Michael Clairmont, NC, 10 grandchildren, a sister and her husband Kimberly and Rene Miranda, Tuscon, AZ, a niece Karisa Miranda, AZ and a nephew Joshua Miranda, CA.

The funeral service will be Thursday 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery.
