Two people were arraigned Thursday in Jefferson County Court on allegations that they sold cocaine in the county.

The charges were contained in grand jury indictments unsealed in court. It is alleged that they sold cocaine in early May and again in late June.

Both pleaded not guilty to the charges. Mr. Logan was sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $40,000 bail, while Miss Logan was held on $5,000 bail.

In other court activity,Michael A. Patak,23, Tarpon Springs, Fla., formerly of Copenhagen, was arraigned on two counts each of third-degree burglary, petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

The charges were contained in an indictment handed up in December, but Mr. Patak never appeared in court for arraignment. It is alleged in the indictment that he entered a storage building at Lunman's Furniture and Appliance Center, 70 N. Main St., Adams, in June 2008 and stole a recliner and then repeated the act a week later.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was sent to the PSB on $10,000 bail.
