The following people are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Brent F. Billhardt, 36, of 5807 Route 12, Glenfield, was arrested by state police at 9 p.m. Monday on Route 12 in the town of Turin, where he initially was cited with speeding at 72 mph in a 55-mph zone. Police said he refused to take a breath test. He was arraigned in town of Turin Court and was sent to Lewis County Jail, Lowville, on $2,000 bail.
■ Timothy M. Davey, 26, of 717 County Route 36, Chase Mills, also was charged Tuesday with having no front license plate when stopped on Route 420 in the town of Massena, state police said. He registered a 0.12 percent blood alcohol content, police said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes intoxication.
■ Jonathan Ortega, 24, Munns Corners Road, town of LeRay, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 2:05 a.m. Thursday on Route 3 in the town of Pamelia, and additionally is charged with failure to keep right, crossing hazard markings and having an insufficient turn signal. He tested at 0.13 percent BAC, according to the sheriff's office.
