Irene Y. Payette, Stephen Hennigan

Irene Y. Payette and Stephen M. Hennigan, both of Rochester, announce their engagement.

Miss Payette, daughter of William Payette, Rochester, and daughter and stepdaughter of Irene and Dennis Pierce, Fairport, is a 1997 graduate of Edison Technical and Occupational High School, Rochester. She is employed at ESL Federal Credit Union, Rochester.

Mr. Hennigan, son and stepson of Robert and Rhonda Hennigan, Brownville, and son and stepson of Susan and Richard Lucas, Copenhagen, is a 2001 graduate of South Jefferson Central School, Adams. He owns and operates a construction business in Rochester and Watertown.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned.
