Five motorists accused of drunken driving, related offenses

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ James R. Hutton, 40, of 12 Old State Highway 58, Gouverneur, also was charged Tuesday by Gouverneur police with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and failure to keep right after he was stopped on Hailesboro Street, Gouverneur police said. His blood alcohol content test result wasn't available.

■ Peter D. Wright, 45, Shelburne, Vt., additionally was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to keep right at 1:41 a.m. Thursday along Old Potsdam-Parishville Road. Deputies said he tested at 0.12 percent BAC. New York law sets 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ Kelly J. Wilson, 29, Massena, was charged by state police Friday night in the town of Louisville. She also was charged with speeding. Her blood alcohol content was 0.16 percent.

■ Derrick S. Marcellus, 39, of 22 Preston St., Gouverneur, also was charged by state police at 1:15 a.m. Sunday with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana in the town of Macomb. His blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent, police said.

■ Kristie N. Lanier, 29, of 845 Starbuck Ave., Apt. 1406, Watertown, also was charged with failure to signal a turn and driving without a license as a result of her arrest by Watertown police at 2:35 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Massey Street. Police listed her test result as 0.09 percent BAC.
