Trusting in Hoffman

It is with great pleasure that I enthusiastically support Doug Hoffman for Congress.

Doug is not a politician or a lawyer; he is one of us. He will represent us in Washington and make a difference with our support. He is a successful businessman, tired of the status quo in Washington. He believes that government is too big and that politicians are spending too much of our money. Doug supports the Second Amendment and is a supporter of life rights.

I have known Doug for 20 years, and I had the pleasure of working with him as a member of the North Elba Republican Committee while he was chairman. He has an ability to lead and motivate the people around him. He is honest and exudes decency.

His experience and education in business, as the comptroller of the 1980 Olympic Games, as a proud, former enlisted serviceman in the Army and later Army Reserve, and as a grass-roots Republican activist, make him uniquely qualified to represent us in Congress.

As a parent, I am concerned about our children's future and the direction our country is headed. I believe that I am not alone. How many of us really trust Congress? Washington is overrun with politicians on both sides of the aisle concerned more with special interests than with representing the hardworking people back home who put them there. I am fed up. That's why I am supporting Doug. I trust him.

Now is the time for all us to make a difference. Together we can tell Washington we have had enough. Join me in supporting the one candidate for Congress who supports family values, fiscal responsibility and service over self, Doug Hoffman.
