ALBANY — Two Clarkson University women’s hockey players were awarded weekly honors by the ECAC Hockey League coaches Monday.
Golden Knights forward Britney Selina was chosen as the conference’s player of the week. She scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a victory over No. 3 New Hampshire on Friday. The senior provided four assists in Saturday’s victory over ninth-ranked Boston University.
Clarkson’s Lauren Dahm was picked as the goaltender of the week. She posted 42 total saves and allowed four goals in the Golden Knights’ weekend wins over New Hampshire and BU.
Forward Kayla Sullivan produced a three-point weekend for St. Lawrence, earning rookie of the week honors. She assisted on the game-tying goal Friday against Boston University. She buried the game-tying tally against New Hampshire on Saturday.
■ Clarkson sophomore Paul Karpowich was named by ECAC men’s hockey coaches as the conference’s goaltender of the week.
A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Karpowich turned aside 30 shots to help launch the Golden Knights to a 4-1 win over St. Lawrence on Saturday. Clarkson has won three straight games.
