Pair of locals participate in national tourney

Local athletes Jeff Hanno and Jim Peters recently competed in the 14th annual U.S. Open Racquetball Championships held in Memphis, Tenn.
Peters finished in third place in the 45-plus men's B Division, while Hanno, playing in the 50-plus open division, reached the round of 16.
The tournament was played Oct. 21-25.
