Siena poll out Saturday morning

The third and final Siena Research Institute poll will be released at 10 a.m. Saturday, according to pollster Stephen Greenberg.

The second poll showed Democrat Bill Owens with a five-point lead over Republican Dede Scozzafava - and Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman ten points behind. But that was Oct. 15 - what must seem like an eternity ago for these campaigns.

I'll be interested to see if Siena confirms the conventional wisdom: that this is now a two-horse race between Mr. Owens and Mr. Hoffman. I'll also be interested to see if Ms. Scozzafava is still within striking distance.
