Amanda L. Flanagan, Portland, Maine, daughter of Michael T. and Linda A. Flanagan, Watertown, was married to Ryan T. Wallace, Portland, son of Kathleen Gerdes, Falmouth, Maine, and son and stepson of Dennis and Rebecca Wallace, Longs, S.C., at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19 on the beach at Maine Teen Camp, Porter, with the Rev. Rick Small officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Kathleen Flanagan, New York City, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Nola Wallace, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

Matthew Wallace, Cumberland, Maine, brother of the groom, was best man. Eamonn Wallace, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Maine Teen Camp lodge. The couple plans to spend a week in Greece and Italy in the spring for their wedding trip.

Mrs. Wallace is a 1993 graduate of Watertown High School, a 1997 graduate of Binghamton University and a 2001 graduate of Antioch University New England, Keene, N.H., where she received a master's degree in education. She is a senior account executive at G. Britt Public Relations, Portland. She is a member of the mission committee of the Maine chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is a board member of the Portland Arts and Cultural Alliance.

Mr. Wallace is a 1993 graduate of Windham (Maine) High School and attended the University of Southern Maine, Gorham, and the New England School of Broadcasting, Bangor. He is a self-employed carpenter and builder and a freelance live sound engineer in Portland.
