Jennie E. Wolstenholme

NORWOOD — Jennie E. Wolstenholme of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 26, 2009.

Jennie was born Jan 15, 1925 in Newton Falls to George and Martha (Marcel) Kennell. She graduated from Potsdam High School in 1943.

In 1948 she was married to Bernard Wolstenholme at St. Mary's Church in Potsdam. They resided in Norwood where they raised two nieces and a nephew. After retirement they spent winters in Florida until her husband died in 1990. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1996 where she was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Jennie was predeceased by her sister, Betty Casselman in 1981; brother George Kennell in 1994; and sister Eva Bonascavage in 1995. She is survived by her nieces, Roz McGee, St. Petersburg, Trudy Melton, Baneberry, TN; nephew Richard Root, Olsteen FL; and other special nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial Celebration of Life at Lowes City Community Center in St. Petersburg for her friends and family. Interment will be in Norwood Cemetery in the spring.
