Harvey W. Morse

GOUVERNEUR — Harvey W. Morse, 57, of 271 Basham Hill Road, Bristol, Tenn., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Bristol Tennessee Medical Center.

Born Oct. 29, 1951, in Gouverneur, the son of Harvey and Janice (Burns) Morse, he graduated from Knox Memorial High School, Russell.

A marriage to Kim Drake ended in divorce.

Mr. Morse worked as a construction laborer, building tennis courts for various companies, and in later years, worked as a florist. He enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are a daughter, Brandi I. Morse, Star Lake; his mother, Janice I. (Burns) Morse, Fine; four brothers, Ralph E., Carrollton, Va., James E., Herkimer, and Steven W. and Darrell G., both of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Dorothea A. (Morse) Sykes, Sarasota, Fla., and Debra J. (Morse) Simmons, Fine; and several nieces and nephews.

His father, Harvey Morse, died Nov. 7, 2008.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be held at the family's convenience. Arrangements are with Weaver's Funeral Home, Bristol, Tenn.
