Beth A. Yancey, R.D. Faulknham

Haskell and Jane Yancey, Croghan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth A. Yancey, Chaumont, to R. Daniel Faulknham, son of R. Dennis and Joanne Faulknham, Cape Vincent.

Miss Yancey is a 2000 graduate of Beaver River Central School, Beaver Falls, and a 2004 graduate of St. Lawrence University, Canton, where she received a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She received a master's degree in education from SUNY Potsdam in 2007 and is a secondary math teacher at Lyme Central School, Chaumont.

Mr. Faulknham is a 2000 graduate of Thousand Islands Central High School, Clayton, and a 2004 graduate of Clarkson University, Potsdam, where he received a bachelor's degree in manufacturing management. He is an assistant operations manager at Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Syracuse.

An Aug. 7 wedding is planned.
