MASSENA — After a run of more than two years, Tommy's Restaurant in the Quality Inn will be closing in December.

Tommy's was started in September 2007 by Thomas M. Williams and his wife, Tracy M. They took control of the bar on July 29, 2007, and opened the restaurant two months later. The couple rented the space from the Quality Inn.

Quality Inn General Manager Lee G. Stevens said he hopes to find another person to open the restaurant, bar and banquet rooms after Tommy's closes Dec. 24.

"If that does not happen, the hotel will take it over and run it," Mr. Stevens said.
