Ann K. Brue

Funeral services for Ann K. Brue, 76 of the Hough Rd, Massena will be held Tuesday 10:00 am ( November 3, 2009) at St. Mary's Church with Rev Michael J.Gaffney presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery,Massena.

Mrs. Brue died Friday afternoon( October 30, 2009 ) surrounded by her family at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, Burlington, Vt.

Friends and family may be received Monday from 2-4 and 7 -9 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.

The family has requested memorials in her name to the Massena Humane Society or the American Lung Association.

Surviving Ann K. Brue is her husband of 54 years, Ted, three daughters: Karen Coia , Heather and husband Edward Harvey of Massena,, Lisa and Richard LaChance of Louisville, a son, Peter and wife Brenda of Chateaugay, NY, 12 grandchildren and six grt grandchildren. Born May 22, 1933 in Massena, the daughter of Francis and Lena (Ashley) Kearns. A graduate of Massena High School. She married Ted J. Brue April 19,1952 at St. Mary's Church. Massena.

Mrs Brue was very active at one time in the PTA and also in the Home Bureau. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed birdwatching. Her other hobbies included oil painting, figure skating and most of all being with her family.
