I am reminded that Tuesday, Nov. 3, is National Election Day which also involves elections of candidates running for various offices in local precincts. I would therefore heartily endorse a vote for Mike Gillette, who will be running for town supervisor for the town of Rutland. I've know Mike for a number of years and find him to be very trustworthy, loyal and certainly interested in politics of his area. He comes with a background of an interest in politics because his father was the supervisor back in the old days before they changed to a legislative system, and he is naturally following in his father's footsteps.
He will be running on the Conservative line, and I know he will be able to exercise great leadership in the field of finance and budgets. I think you will be pleased with his performance.
