NCPR gets $45,000 grant to build new transmitter
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2009
CANTON — North Country Public Radio is the recipient of a grant from the Northern New York Community Foundation's Jackson Fund.
The $45,000 award will pay for a transmitter to improve reception around Gouverneur and the southwestern part of St. Lawrence County.
The station plans to construct the facility next summer.
