■ Proceeds from a bake sale taking place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today on the first floor of City Hall, 245 Washington St., will be donated to the American Heart Association.

■ ADAMS — Village of Adams officials are requesting that water system customers, including those in Adams Center, conserve water until further notice. A water shortage has been caused by construction on the system and recent fires.

■ LOWVILLE — The Lewis County Legislature will hold a committee of the whole board at 2:30 p.m. today in the second-floor chambers at the county office building to discuss union negotiations, with most of the meeting to be held in executive session. The regular meeting will start at 5 p.m.
