Water emergency cited in Adams Center area

ADAMS — The village has declared a water emergency for all users of the system, including those in Adams Center.

Because of an ongoing problem providing potable water through the system, equipment is being borrowed from the state Office of Emergency Management to help the village get through the problem in the short term.

Water system users are asked to continue to conserve water and the state of emergency will remain in place until further notice.
