M.K. VanBrocklin

Marian K. VanBrocklin, 89, of NYS Route 289, Belleville, died Monday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center.

Marian was born in Watertown, N.Y., on August 20, 1920, a daughter of Halsey and Lillian Guller Kimball. She graduated from Watertown High School. A marriage to John J. Olah ended in divorce. She married Virgil J. VanBrocklin June 6, 1954 at Emmanuel Congregational Church, Watertown. Mr. VanBrocklin died January 10, 1995.

She is survived by a daughter, Carole Olah Prouty, Adams Center; a son, Richard Lee Olah, Belleville, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters, and a daughter, Patricia Ann, who died in infancy.

There are no calling hours. Graveside services are private. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Belleville Volunteer Fire Department, or to the South Jefferson Rescue Squad.
