BROWNVILLE — Laurie A. Clemons, 45 of Franklin Street died at home on Monday.

Born October 7, 1964 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of William and Linda Farmer LaVallee, and graduated from Tupper Lake High School in 1982. She and her family moved to Theresa following her graduation.

A marriage to Ernest Clemons ended in divorce.

She worked at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown as an operating room technician from 1982-2000, retiring due to disability.

Mrs. Clemons enjoyed watching movies and loved life.

Survivors include a daughter, Brittany Clemons, at home; her father and stepmother, William and Kathaleen LaVallee, Theresa; two brothers and their wives, William "Billy" and Lori, Savona and Eric and Mary Beth, Theresa; a sister and her husband, Gina and Kevin Brotherton, Philadelphia. Her mother died in 1967.

The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Inc., Theresa with Rev. Mark Reilly of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Philadelphia and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Evans Mills officiating. Burial at St. Alphonse Cemetery, Tupper Lake will be at 1:30 p.m.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
