Willard J. Corbett, 77, died Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Oswego Hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Watertown, the son of Joseph A. and Ester Yousey Corbett. He served in the US Army from 1948 to 1957 in the Signal Corp. He was a Korean War Vet. He worked several jobs before becoming a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 73, Oswego, before retiring. He married Alice D. Cowles Feb. 16, 1952, at Camp Drum. They separated. Besides his wife he is survived by a son Willard J. II, two grandsons Christopher J. and Shaun P. A companion. A daughter and son-in-law, Greg and Susan Peterson, and a grandson, Nash. He is survived by three brothers Richard A., Port Ontario, Paul J., Oswego, and Thomas G., Spemserville, S.C., three sisters Dorothy Scharoun, Port Ontario, Mary Martin, Lowville, and Jane A. Miller, Florida. Two half-sisters, Sally and Barbara, and a half-brother, James Proud died before him.

There are no funeral services or calling hours.
