Gerald E. Tanner Sr. 65, Redondo Beach, Calif.

Gerald E. Tanner, Sr. 65, Redondo Beach, CA, father of Jason Tanner, manager of the Northside Key Bank, died October 23, 2009. A graveside service will be Saturday at 11 am at Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Kirk Gilcrest officiating, family and friends are welcome. Jerry Tanner was born July 23, 1944 in Long Beach, CA a son of Clyde E. and Frances A. Ienna Tanner. He graduated from Aviation High School in Redondo Beach, CA and owned and operated Tanner Construction in Redondo Beach. Jerry enjoyed deep sea fishing, boating and his family.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter in law Gerald E., Jr. of Redondo Beach, CA and Jason A. and Jocelyn of Watertown, two brothers John A. Morvant of Laguna Hills, CA and George W. Morvant of Redondo Beach, CA. and three grandchildren Jacob A. Rutgliano, Jonathan M. Tanner and Joshua A. Tanner all of Watertown.
