Applications available for business competition

Applications are available for business award competitions for the Jefferson County Job Development Corp. Two awards will be given: the New Business Venture award to a business two to four years old in the county and the Business of Excellence Award to a county business that has developed new or improved products or services with cutting-edge innovations and technologies.

Winning businesses receive a three-minute video highlighting the business that can be used in commercials and on the Internet, a one-year JCJDC membership, $1,000 prize, a plaque and free application to the Creative Core Emerging Business Competition.
