NORFOLK — Graveside services for Thomas C. "Whitey" Gravlin, 59, of 1 High Street, Norfolk, formerly of Unity Acres in Orwell, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the St. Martin de Porres Cemetery in Orwell with Father Robert Jones presiding.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.

Whitey passed away Tuesday evening (Nov. 3, 2009) at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

He is survived by his sons, Shawn and his companion Hope LaBrake, Massena and Jeremey of Queens; a daughter, Lisa Marie Caskinette; a brother, Stephen and Deborah Gravlin of Madrid; his sisters, Tracy LaShomb and Nancy Gravlin, both of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Janice Woodward, Norwood; and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Raymond "Butch" and James.

Whitey was born Aug. 11, 1950 in Palmer, Mass., to the late Raymond and Frances Dunn Gravlin.

He enjoyed fishing, especially for trout, and cars.
