Police say man gave away a borrowed cell phone

A man gave away a cell phone he had borrowed, Watertown police allege.

Travis C. Snyder, 22, of 110 E. Main St., Brownville, surrendered to police early Friday to be charged with misappropriation of property, a misdemeanor. He is due to appear in City Court.

Police said the phone belonging to Anthony M. Heaney, 1301 Marra Drive, was given early Thursday to a woman at 760 W. Main St.
