General Brown takes Section 3 Class C title

General Brown erased a four-year Section 3 Class C title drought with a 27-14 win over Cazenovia on Saturday at the Carrier Dome.

Nick Klusacek rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 36 and 20 yards. Jared Flath finished with a pair of TD runs and 85 yards on the ground for General Brown (10-0 overall).

Cazenovia's Chad Dorrance paced the Lakers with 77 yards rushing. Zack Golden returned a punt 63 yards for a touchdown. Jacob Ayer fell on a fumble in the end zone for Cazenovia's second touchdown. The Lakers end their season 9-1.

General Brown will face the Section 4 champion on Saturday at Union-Endicott high school.
