Marie Lahey

MASSENA — Funeral services for Marie Lahey, 95 of Laurel Avenue, Massena, will be Monday at noon at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may be received on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews St. Massena.

Marie passed away Friday (Nov. 6, 2009) at the St. Regis Nursing Home.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth and husband WIlliam Lenney of Massena and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, WIlliam C. Lahey; and one sister, Agnes Sharp.

She was born Jan. 5, 1914 in Massena, the daughter of William and Jane (Hourihan) Lahey.

Marie was employed at Alcoa as an accounting clerk.

She was an avid reader and was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart.

She especially enjoyed being with her family.

At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund.
