WHS grad Fitchette is SUNYAC player of the year

SUNY Brockport's Alyssa Fitchette, a former Watertown High School standout, has been named the SUNYAC volleyball West Division player of the year, the conference announced Friday.

The 2005 WHS graduate led the conference with a .356 hitting percentage, and provided 3.53 kills per game to earn first-team recognition for the second consecutive season.

The Golden Eagles (6-2) finished in second place in the SUNYAC West Division.
