Meeting planned Tuesday on rehabilitation project

OGDENSBURG — The St. Lawrence County Housing Council Inc. and the Ogdensburg Department of Planning and Development will host a meeting on the Ford/State Street Rehabilitation Project at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council chambers, 330 Ford St.

The Housing Council recently was awarded a $200,000 grant from the New York Housing Trust Fund Corp. The grant will be supplemented by $100,000 from the city of Ogdensburg.

Property owners in downtown Ogdensburg can use grant funds to undertake facade, structural and system repairs in their buildings. The Housing Council will present the details of the program and the application process at the meeting. Applications will be available.
