BRASHER FALLS — Canton-Potsdam Hospital's Brasher Falls Community Health Center remains open after the physician who headed the clinic left the hospital.

Dr. Elizabeth M. LoGalbo, a family practitioner, no longer is employed by the hospital, but the clinic is still accepting patients, Canton-Potsdam spokeswoman Rebecca J. Sutcliffe said.

The health center is staffed by a nurse practitioner and other medical and support staff; it is overseen by doctors at the hospital.

The Brasher Falls facility opened in 2008.
