Donna E. (Pennington) Norks, 61, of Sapulpa, passed away in Tulsa on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Donna was born in Watertown, New York on December 28, 1947 to James Pennington and Elizabeth (Swallia) Pennington. She was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse at St. John-Sapulpa Medical Center with a career spanning over 40 years.

Donna's family said she was a genuine pet lover and animal rescuer and could not pass up an animal in need. She also was a motorcycle enthusiast and liked to ride on a Harley, including trips to the famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Donna is survived by two daughters, Linda Collins and husband Robert of Sand Springs, and Michelle Doney and husband Harold of Watertown, New York, three sons, James Sheehan of Sapulpa, Marvin Cean and wife Jackie of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Raymond Cean and wife Deon of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by one brother, Leslie Pennington and wife Pat of Greenville, South Carolina, and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Donna will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Kent Choate of Broadway Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
