Three injured, taken to Upstate Medical after head-on crash in town of Diana

HARRISVILLE — Three people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Route 3 in the town of Diana.

State police said a vehicle driven by Tyler Colon, 23, Rochester, was traveling west on Route 3 about noon when it crossed the center line and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Robert A. Gormley, 70, of 846 State St., Carthage.

Mr. Tyler and Mr. Gormley were flown to Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, for treatment of unspecified injuries. A passenger in the Tyler vehicle, Amanda B. Keefe, 23, of Rainbow Lake, Franklin County, was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, for treatment of unspecified injuries and later was transferred to Upstate.

Police said Mr. Gormley was in critical condition Thursday night. The condition of Mr. Tyler and Miss Keefe was not available.

Police said the investigation into the accident is continuing.
