NNY motorists charged with DWI

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Anthony W. Oaks, 46, Constableville, was arrested by state police at 8:15 p.m. Thursday on charges of felony aggravated DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation on Route 12 in the town of Martinsburg. Police listed his breath test result as 0.19 percent blood alcohol content. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more. He also was charged with DWI on Jan. 9 in Lewis County.

■ Scott B. Baker, 54, of 517 Lansing St., Apt. B, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police with aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle after he allegedly sideswiped another vehicle at 9:53 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Chestnut Street. He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent.

■ Noe Alaniz Jr., 26, of 435 S. Hycliff Drive, Apt. 638-A, Watertown, was charged with aggravated DWI and making an unsafe start by Watertown police following an arrest at 2:25 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Factory Street. He tested at 0.18 percent BAC, police said.

■ Robert L. Wardrett, 32, Fort Drum, faces charges of aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle following his arrest by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday on Route 3 in the village of Black River. He had a test result of 0.21 percent BAC, deputies said.

■ Kenneth D. Tassie, 38, of 230 County Route 36, Chase Mills, also was charged at 2:09 a.m. Saturday with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, state police said. They said Mr. Tassie's blood alcohol content was 0.12 percent when he was pulled over on Route 37 in Waddington. He also was charged with speeding and failure to keep right.

■ Julie A. Reis, 32, Calcium, faces charges of aggravated DWI and failure to keep right, cited by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 2:40 a.m. Friday on Route 342 in the town of LeRay. Her test result was 0.22 percent BAC, according to the sheriff's office.

■ Chivone M. Weyde, 25, Evans Mills, was arrested by Watertown police at 2:15 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Arsenal Street, where he was initially cited with speeding at 50 mph in a 30-mph speed zone. His breath test reading was 0.17 percent BAC, police said.

■ Roland M. Mchoes, 25, Fort Drum, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday on Route 342 in the town of LeRay, and faces additional counts of crossing hazard markings, failure to keep right and having a defective plate lamp. He registered 0.12 percent BAC, deputies said.

■ Clifford R. Moulton III, 18, of 16760 Michael Road, Adams Center, also was cited with having loud exhaust in connection with his arrest by state police at 2:50 a.m. Friday on Route 11 in the town of Watertown. He had a 0.09 percent BAC reading, police said.

■ Randy W. Clark, 44, Potsdam, was charged Thursday with felony aggravated DWI when he was stopped on Maple Street in the village of Potsdam, state police said. He registered a 0.19 percent BAC, police said.

■ Michael R. Tuper, 45, Elm Street, Norwood, was charged at 6 p.m. Friday after his vehicle was stopped on Route 30 in Tupper Lake, village police said. Police said his blood alcohol content was not available Saturday.

■ Brett J. Rousell, 22, of 15 Frederick St., Malone, also was charged at 2:39 a.m. Saturday with failure to keep right, state police said. Troopers said Mr. Rousell refused a Breathalyzer test after he was involved in a minor one-car accident on Meehan Road in Malone.

■ John D. Atkinson, 19, of 277 Thompson Blvd., Watertown, also was charged by Watertown police with an equipment violation at 3 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Arsenal Street. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.13 percent.

■ Craig A. Cox, 60, Potsdam, was charged Thursday when he was stopped on Maple Street in the village of Potsdam, state police said. He registered a 0.10 percent BAC, police said.

■ Jessica L. Dillow, 24, Natural Bridge, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI at 11:45 p.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of Wilna. She allegedly had a BAC of 0.20 percent.

Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:

■ Robert E. Rivera, 18, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 12B, Watertown, also was charged by Watertown police with failure to keep right, improper lane use, driving without a license and an equipment violation after he hit a utility pole at 3:01 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Factory Street.
