ADAMS CENTER — Dorothy L. Chrysler, 85, of 13572 North Street, died Friday afternoon at Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown, where she had been a resident since August 2009. A prayer service will be at 8:00pm Tuesday at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, with Rev. Leon 'Toby' Schilling officiating. Burial will be 9:00am Wednesday in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours.
Born June 1, 1924 in Rodman, daughter of Harry and Minnie Bisig LeGrosse, she attended schools in Rodman and Adams Center. Following school she worked as a stenographer for the Jefferson County Welfare Department, retiring June 1, 1979.
She married John R. Chrysler of Rodman on December 9, 1945 at Stone Street Presbyterian Church, Watertown. The couple lived all their married life in Adams Center. Mr. Chrsyler died June 2, 1997.
Mrs. Chrysler is survived by cousins and her adopted family and care givers, Sheri Tooley-Peters and James Peters, Adams Center; Traci and Scott Rogers, Adams Center; Jack and Melissa Spinner, Rodman; and Kevin and Stacey Spinner, Adams Center.
She was a New York Yankees fan.
