OGDENSBURG — A 31-year-old man is accused of pocketing cash from customers while taking orders at Burger King.
Craig M. Whitman, 31, Ogdensburg, was charged Saturday with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records, a state police investigator said.
He is accused of not making a night deposit totaling $1,529 at a bank and voiding more than $1,700 in sales at cash registers while employed at Burger King, 732 Canton St., between August and October, investigators said.
He was arraigned in Oswegatchie Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail.
His next court appearance is Wednesday.
