Brandy L. Gilbert, Matthew Marriott

Brandy L. Gilbert, Reisterstown, Md., married Matthew R. Marriott, Reisterstown, son of Richard and Karen Marriott, Rodman, at 6:30 p.m. May 22 on the front veranda of the mansion at Valley Country Club, Towson, Md.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Karen Gilbert, Manassas, Va., and Glenn Gilbert, Stewartstown, Pa.

Tiffany Bosley, Westminster, Md., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Ashley Gilbert, Aberdeen, Md., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Megan Adame, Owens Mills, Md., was bridesmaid.

Derek Marriott, Rodman, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kristofer Sullivan, Vernon, and Timothy Spingler, Weedsport, both friends of the groom.

A reception was held in the Valley Country Club mansion following the ceremony. The couple spent a week at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort, Mexico.

Mrs. Marriott is a 2003 graduate of Frostburg State University, Md., where she received a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a math teacher at Hannah More School, Reisterstown.

Mr. Marriott is a 1995 graduate of South Jefferson Central School, Adams, and graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree and in 2002 with a master's degree in physical education from Canisius College, Buffalo. He is a physical education teacher at Hannah More School.

The couple resides in Hempstead, Md.
