Margaret McFadden, Tyler Smith

Margaret Heather McFadden, daughter of John B. and Shirley P. McFadden, Adams, married Tyler Allen Smith, son of Kathleen W. and A.C. Dutton Smith Jr., Weybridge, Vt., at 2 p.m. July 25 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles Henderson and the Rev. Steven P. Jewett officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She carried a bouquet of pink daylilies and calla lilies.

Maid of honor was April Peet, Burlington, Vt. Bridesmaids were Starla N. Solan, Lexington, Ky., Jodi N. McFadden, St. Petersburg, Russia, sister-in-law of the bride, Meghan S. McFadden, Deerfield, Ill., sister-in-law of the bride, and Stephanie Carroll, Buffalo.

Best man was Adam W. Severy, Ludlow, Vt., cousin of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Glen M. Ewart, Potsdam, Patrick Ewan McFadden, St. Petersburg, brother of the bride, Lucas M. McFadden, Deerfield, brother of the bride, and Bryan M. Woods, Nyack. Ring bearer was Samuel R. McFadden, St. Petersburg, nephew of the bride.

The bride's brother, Lucas, delivered the homily and Sally Jerome, Adams Center, was organist.

A reception was held at the bride's parents' home in Adams. The couple took a weeklong wedding trip to Outer Banks, N.C.

Mrs. Smith graduated from South Jefferson Central School, Adams, in 2002, and received a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Middlebury (Vt.) College. She is pursuing a master's degree in clinical psychology at Wheaton (Ill.) College Graduate School.

Mr. Smith graduated in 2002 from Middlebury High School and from St. Lawrence University, Canton, in 2006. He is pursuing a master of divinity degree at Trinity Evangelical Seminary, Deerfield.

The couple resides at 900 A. Crescent St., Wheaton.
