Jan L. Westcott

Jan L. Westcott, 65, of Faichney Dr., died November 18th at his home. He had been ill with Multiple Sclerosis for over forty years.

He was born in Watertown, June 26, 1944 and was educated in Watertown schools. Mr. Westcott lived and worked in Rochester for several years, returning to Watertown in the late 1960's.

Jan enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle, working on older cars, and the outdoors.

Mr. Westcott is survived by his companion and caregiver of 38 years, Sandy Coleman of Watertown; a son, Jan F., California; a daughter Martina M. Downs, Lowville; his aunt and uncle, Maureen and Bernard Graham, Watertown; grandchildren and two cousins.

Graveside services will be held for the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Skaneateles. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
