B.A. Ridgeway

RICHLAND — Benjamin A. Ridgeway, 41, Richland, died Nov. 18, 2009, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Born March 6, 1967, the son of the late Roger and Patricia Suit Ridgeway, he graduated from Sandy Creek High School and Alfred University. He was an engineering draftman and formerly employed by Ridgeway Logging, Lacona. Mr. Ridgeway was active in Boy Scouts for many years and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are a sister, Amber Ridgeway, Lacona; his grandmother, Lillian Ridgeway, Lacona; a nephew, Cole Ridgeway, Lacona; an aunt and uncle, Kelly and Mary Jane Emmie Ridgeway; and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be in Boylston-Sandy Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the funeral, at the funeral home.
