Robert Ligammari

ADAMS CENTER — Robert L. Ligammari, 57, died Saturday November 21, at his home in Adams Center while under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

He was born July 9, 1957, in Watertown, the son of Peter and Betty Yerdon Ligammari.

He graduated from Watertown High School and served in the US Air Force for 4 years in Alaska. After the Air Force he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Delmar Collage, in Corpus Christi, TX. He worked in construction in Texas before moving back to Jefferson County, in 1987, where he lived in Barnes Corners and worked with his father in the plastering and sheetrock construction business.

Surviving him are his parents, Peter and Betty Ligammari, Watertown; a brother and his wife, Thomas and Debra Ligammari, Watertown; four sisters and three brothers in laws, Kathye and Scott Scee, Watertown, Karen Ligammari, Watertown, Mary and John Rist, Des Moines, Iowa, Sharon and Matt Fitzpatrick, Tylerville; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Peter Ligammari IV, died before him.

A funeral Mass will be on Wednesday November 25 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church in Watertown, NY, with Father Andrew Mulvaney officiating. Private family burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown.
