This letter could be bitter and hateful like all the past letters to the editor from the anti-wind posse. It could go on and on about how self-serving the new town supervisor's antics were, about his lack of experience running a town, about certain summer residents who are only concerned with how aesthetically pleasing their view is rather than the green future our younger generation needs, about how heartless the posse's influence was to change voter registrations to push a good man out of office, or finally about how little a dollar means to most people who opposed my father.

It would not be hard to be sinister and rude, to play the "eye for an eye" game. But you see, that's not how I was raised. I was raised by a businessman who has worked hard for over 40 years running his repair shop, a citizen who cares about the future of the hardworking farmers, a grandfather who cares about clean, renewable energy for his grandchildren, a father who is there whenever his kids need him.

This letter was written to tell the current supervisor, my dad, who has done so much for our town, that I am proud of him. On Election Day, the year-round residents voted him back into office where he belongs. He truly did win that election even though the recent outcome showed otherwise.

One thing is for certain, my dad will continue the important duties in his life as a businessman, concerned citizen, grandfather and father and those can never be taken away from him. Thanks, Dad.
