ROCHESTER — Abby Stanton tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds as the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team topped Rochester Institute of Technology, 51-46, in the RIT Tournament final Sunday.
Casey Capello scored 15 points, and Iris Santoni added 12 for the Saints (3-0).
Senior Brittany Parham was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player, while Capello earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
Sharon Dennis led RIT (2-1) with 10 points, 16 rebounds, and six blocked shots.

FULTON-MONTGOMERY CC 40
Tara Gervera collected a double-double of 10 points and 16 rebounds as the Cannoneers finished in third place at the Alfred State Tournament with a victory over the Raiders.
Gervera was selected to the all-tournament team. Alicia Uhlein tallied 10 points and seven rebounds for JCC (3-5). Alicia Bradberry and Dana Stenhouse also supplied 10 points apiece. Jenny Jones added seven rebounds and four steals.
Christine Cornell paced Fulton-Montgomery with 11 points.

Terence Henderson recorded 23 points, 14 rebounds and three steals as the Cannoneers cruised to a win in the consolation game of the Alfred State Tournament in Alfred.
Henderson's performance earned him a spot on the all-tournament team.
James Biggs supplied 15 rebounds, five steals and four assists for JCC (4-5).
Anthony Harris and Ashton Pascall each had 11 points for Fulton-Montgomery (4-7)
JCC lost Saturday's first round game to Rockland Community College (9-0), the No. 4 ranked team in the country, 89-67.
MENS HOCKEY
SUNY CANTON 8, NORWICH 1
Dan Cibelli scored a pair of goals and Mike Pearman dished out three assists as the Kangaroos crushed the Cadets in the consolation game of the Terry Martin/SUNY Canton Pride's Corner Tournament at the Canton Pavilion.
John Payne, Pat Otwell, Cory Bercume and Eric Cook each supplied a goal and an assist for SUNY Canton (9-8).
Canton native Rob Liggio was named to the all-tournament team.
Stefan Wuorinen stopped 23 shots for Norwich (3-5).
John Carroll University, which beat SUNY Canton in overtime in the first round, defeated Cornell in the championship game.
WRESTLING
LISTER WINS TITLE AT CORNELL
Justin Lister, a former South Jefferson wrestler and current sophomore at Binghamton University, won the 157-pound title at the Cornell Body Bar Invitational this weekend.
Lister defeated the No. 1 seed Mallie Schuster of Kent State, 7-0, and pinned Drexel's Joe Booth in 2 minutes on Saturday. On Sunday, Lister beat Michigan State's Anthony Jones, 3-2, and pinned Davidson's Joe McGinley in 1 minute, 36 seconds.
Lister is the regular 157-pound starter for Binghamton and has a 10-1 record to start this season.
